I know right now we are living in trying times but I’m an optimist,….and as its mandated we stay indoors for the sake of everyone I’m utilizing my time in creating more art. At the beginning of the year I decided to create a collection of prints where a quarter of the proceeds will go to different charities. I wanted to do something that will benefit the world and spread my love of art around….cheesy as that may sound :). But I’m happy to say that since then I’ve been making some progress,…not as much as I would like BUT I’m just happy that the project is moving along. Also I’ve reignited my passion for painting again and so I’ve decided to do a collection of paintings that I will hopefully be able to post up in another art show soon! All the while I’ve been focusing on completing some client projects as well as finishing my degree in Respiratory Therapy. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! Everything is going to be alright! We will get through this and we will be better! 🙂

Finishing the website

Being a freelance artist there are many avenues of promoting oneself; one would think that it’s easy, given we live in the digital age where one click can expose yourself globally in a few seconds. With that said, building a website should come easy, right? Unfortunately for myself, it didn’t work that way. Maybe I’m just wired differently and can’t really comprehend the material as easily as others; even after taking a beginner’s course in web design. Much respect to all the web designers and people who enjoy coding. After this experience I would definitely pay an experienced designer to build my website,….after I’ve become a bit more financially stable :). But overall it was an interesting experience and I’m glad I decided to learn how to build a website, but for now I’ll just stick to these website builders :D.
